It's been a while since the first time I saw the light, and I'm not talking about a religious happening, although some might possibly interpret it as that. I was 35 weeks pregnant at the time with my first child, a son.
It was one of those nights where I tossed and turned and couldn't sleep, I'd had a lot of those during the pregnancy, so it was nothing new to me. I mostly didn't get to sleep until the early hours of the a.m. On that night I was so uncomfortable, plus it was very hot and humid, and I just couldn't drift off to sleep.
Our bed is next to one of two small windows that look out towards the darling ranges in a South East Direction. I can see the night sky from my bed so at night I would just stare into the night sky while lying on the bed. This night I was doing the same thing, when all of a sudden a bright orange ball appeared in the sky, coming from the South West. A few planes do fly around from that direction, commercial airliners and smaller craft so I thought nothing of it.
I kept watching as the object came closer and was getting bigger. I noticed something odd in that there was no sound coming from aircraft (I had the windows open). The object kept getting bigger and closer and I could see that it was pulsing, and it kind of had a sparkle to it as well, like looking at a sparkler on a birthday cake, these sparks were shooting out from all around it.
There was still no sound coming from the object. I sat up on the bed, my heart was pounding a mile a minute, and I just kept sitting there rooted to the spot, watching. Suddenly this big golden ball of light appeared in the tree across from my house and it suddenly turned into a star-like object and shot up into the sky so fast and disappeared! I was still rooted to the spot, my mouth so dry, too scared to even think what that could have been!
Then I looked back to the orange ball object and it just blinked out like someone had switched off a light. But then seconds later it blinked back on and then it moved to the side and back again. Then it moved up and stopped and came back down on a straight line. Then it moved to the side, blinked out, blinked back on and moved back to the middle again.
I was on the bed watching this incredible show and then my husband suddenly woke up and looked at me and said "what's wrong?" and he knew by my face that something was up, even in the dark. So he came and sat with me on the bed and we watched this incredible light. By then we both knew that it wasn't a commercial aircraft, but we didn't know what exactly it was.
My husband is a typical non-believer, well I should say was. It's not like he believes in UFO's now or anything, but when asked he'll say that he doesn't know what it is, but that it's not man-made.
Anyway, we sat on the bed and watched it until 4am and then I got so scared because I had heard all these reports of abductions by ufo's and stuff and I was pregnant so I thought maybe "they" were going to abduct me and take my baby.
So my husband closed the window and the blinds and we laid down on the bed holding tightly on to each other. My husband said the weirdest thing at the time, that we "shouldn't let them see us". Looking back now, what did he mean by them?
Anyway we laid there until it got light and then my husband went to have a look outside- because surely nothing could happen to us in broad daylight right? Well he looked up and there it was, getting higher and higher in the sky (above our house), moving very slowly. So I went outside too because I thought it should be safe, and I watched it climb higher into the sky and as it got lighter I couldn't see it anymore.
That was not a one-off experience for us. Ever since that night we have seen more lights that pulsate, that look like sparklers, that do strange moves in the sky. 3 weeks after that event I gave birth to my son. I went to a channeller who told me the strange lights in the sky are from the Pleiades and they are my and his family. (Not sure if I believe this or not...however the lights continued to come at 3am and every time they would come he and I would both wake up at the same time.)
About September I noticed that the lights were coming as early as 7pm at night instead of 3am in the morning, and they seemed to multiply. First there was one light, then there was 3, then 5, then 6 and sometimes 7. There were two that seemed bigger than the others and moved around more which I termed "the motherships". Some nights only a couple would come and then the next night there would be plenty. They all did strange maneuvers in the sky and would criss cross the sky above our home all night. When I have had time I have stayed outside a lot watching them. There have also been more white orb lights that suddenly shoot up from tree level into the sky, and I've actually seen some shoot out from my neighbour's roof top!
When you have a newborn you are up pretty much every couple of hours anyway so after feeding my son, before going back to bed I would go outside and have a look what they were doing.
At first I was so afraid, but in time I have grown to like them being there. If I go out at night and don't see any, then I feel an odd sense of disappointment. Kind of like they are my friends.
My husband, though still not a "believer", still asks me about "them" if I do go outside to have a look, and quite a few times since then we have witnessed some odd lights doing weird movements in the sky together, so I am not alone in this. It's easy for people to say to me "are you sure it wasn't a star/plane?" and it's nice for me to tell them that I haven't seen it alone, and my husband is the most logical, practical person ever, so it's not like he would be convincing himself a plane is a ufo. And also there are no flashing lights like a plane, and stars do not move to the side and stop and then move back again!
A few nights after the first time I saw it, I managed to get our Nikon camera out and try to get a picture. I'm not an expert with a camera so the picture below is the best I could do. I was surprised when I zoomed in that it took on the appearance of a cross. (see what I mean about someone saying it could be a religious experience). I am not religious, so I don't relate it to anything God-like.
I find it to be very pretty and calming, and when I look at the picture it seems like it's moving on the picture, it's a strange effect.
I am sharing this now because I want to find other people in Perth also witnessing this light or others like it, and other people having strange encounters. What I don't want is people flaming or ridiculing me or others, so any posts like that will be deleted.
